The seventh edition of Burlap Willow Cigar Nights was another “one you shouldn’t miss, even if you could” nights! 

The local vibe was rampant as one of the best blues/rock bands to ever grace the 

Wisteria Stage at Bert Driver’s Burlap Room were on hand to “serve us up some  of this, some of that” — VERY nice!

Terry Coyle-Drums

I'm from Searcy, Ark and have been playing drums 58 years now and piano 60 years.  Bass and guitar for 50 years. 

Colton Rhody-Lead Guitar

I am from Smithville, TN, and I’ve been playing guitar for 20 years!

Lisa Byrne-Lead Vocals and Percussion 

From Cookeville. Been singing with family since childhood. 

Lorie Judd-Bass, Acoustic Guitar and Lead Vocal

I am originally from Livingston, TN but have lived in Cookeville for many years.  Been singing for 43 years, playing guitar for 39 years and bass 36 years!  I love everything about it!!

Let me tell you, the Burlappers were digging the wide-ranging repertoire of these “seasoned”, talented musicians.  We rocked the early evening away, singing along with old favs like Space Cowboy (Steve Miller, but littler funkier), and Elvin Bishop’s “Fooled Around & Fell In Love”, (Nice Solo, Colton!)

We are proud to have these UC region professional musicians present their music at Bert Driver’s Burlap Room!  

Thanks to The Greek Station food truck for being on-hand, with their excellent food and “firepit area owner delivery service’, (with a smile!) 

Did I mention how much Button Willow (downtown Smithville) makes BurlapWillow Cigar Nights so special by bringing out some of the best, high-quality cigars available anywhere?  Well….Joe & Angela are “Simply the Best!” (kudos to Ms. Tina Turner).

Cigar Nights are really turning into a “Thang”- You need to come on out to the most laid-back live music venue you’ve ever experienced! Next Cigar Night is on Thursday, 9/16/21 and features Lee Rolfes, Americana/Folk music.
