Southern Sunrise is a band rooted in blues, southern rock, and country that will be sure to blow your mind. Based out of Cookeville and Crossville, this group will entertain you with tunes you'll recognize, and they'll play a collection of original songs. Nothing but certified bangers and twangers with these guys! Group consists of four members who all sing: KC Cope and Lucas McCoy on guitars and, the dynamic duo rhythm section of "Ground and Pound", Jim Brigham on bass and Travis Humphrey on drums. Musical inspirations include Allman Brothers, Whiskey Myers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tab Benoit, Pink Floyd, ZZ Top, Billy Joe Shaver, Merle Haggard, John Prine, and a whole lot more. Their first album, released in Feb. 2021, is titled Keep On Runnin' and you can find it on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Tidal, and anywhere you stream your music. You won't want to miss this band and their southern, country fried music!
