More about Ty Gregory...
Hailing from a small town just 50 miles east of Nashville, Ty Gregory has been sowing his musical roots deep in the Bible Belt since he was just a teenager. As a young boy, Ty would sit in front of his grandmother’s wooden console tv for hours at a time watching 90’s country music videos on CMT. Captivated by the look and sound of artists such as Tracy Lawrence, Joe Diffie and Travis Tritt, Ty knew at a young age that whatever these guys had, he also wanted. Twelve years old with a new tobacco sunburst painted Silvertone guitar from a Sears catalog, Ty quickly began learning to strum chords and eventually he turned those chords into songs. From that point on, Ty became hooked to the concept of playing and creating music of his own and formed countless country and rock bands over the next several years. A subtle mix of 90’s country twang coupled with melodic overtones and driving beats that can’t help from being considered an anthem, Ty Gregory is a fresh new take on the country format.
