The Smoky Nights Tribute to Fleetwood Mac

Bert Driver’s Burlap Room struck a nerve last year with regional up and coming Smoky Nights doing a complete evening of Fleetwood Mac’s “live forever” rock & roll!

So, following one of our sub-guidelines of “If it feels good, do it again”, that’s exactly what happened Saturday night for the seasoned and newbie Burlappers who assembled in record numbers (close to 500 to be exact!) for this much-anticipated 2021 sequel.

The oh so groovy party atmosphere was kicked into a higher gear with the  revelers/ Smoky Night fans who arrived via shuttle bus from our biz buds over at Tour the Upper Cumberland over in Sparta, TN.

And, the Burlap Bus was running to/from Dale Hollow Ridge and Blue Water Bay, which, BTW, is THE best designated driver for our patrons to safely get to our events!  Check www.bertdriver.com for everything you need to know about the goings ons at Bert Driver Nursery and the Burlap Room.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch…Mother Nature certainly had her part down pat, blessing us with a gorgeous afternoon/ evening that was a perfect backdrop for great food from Pizza Bus, Tio’s Taco Truck, and newcomer YaYa’s Food Truck (REAL fresh turnip greens! with your shrimp, sir?), and of course, craft beer!  Ms. Tabitha Therjung from Appalachian Center for Craft, Tennessee Tech University with her unique glass art.  And then...the magic of the music took us all away!

We are delighted to report that in a world where “sequels” often don’t measure up to our expectations, Smoky Nights’ Fleetwood Mac II delivered an improved, inspired, spot-on performance that even surpassed last year’s original #1 iteration.

Next up, Hemp Fest III! Go here for more details and to buy tickets. Hurry! Tickets are going fast.
