Get Out the Vote! Special Event at the Harvester

07.21.2022 - American politics at its best was on full display during Tecia Puckett Pryor’s Get Out the Vote Event at the Harvester Performance and Event Center on Thursday evening. No yelling, no running down “the other side” or unworthy opponents, no “shenanigans”...whew, what a relief! Just a heartfelt (brief) address from Tecia, who indeed covered a lot of ground in a few short minutes…mainly, “Experience DOES count”, and Tecia has been working in the juvenile court systems for 25 years (Can you imagine??!!). From her description of the General Sessions “part-time job” she’s running for, where she will be handling three times as many cases as judges in other jurisdictions, I was struck by the fact that ANY person who has already paid dues in Juvey for 25 years and as GS Judge will have an even bigger docket of cases deserves strong consideration just for willing to take on such an awesome responsibility.

There’s plenty of other reasons that Tecia Puckett Pryor is deserving of your consideration and your vote on August 4th, but now it’s YOUR responsibility to find out as much as you can about her and the other candidates’ positions so that you can make an informed decision when you cast your vote.  You ARE going to vote, right?

Special thanks to Tio’s Taco Truck (on the road) for providing your usual top-notch fare, and Jimmy Wayne Garrett for providing the “just right” bluesy live background music for the political hob-nobbing!  “Very tasty”- Tio’s and Jimmy Wayne Garrett’s music!

As you can see, the Harvester Performance and Event Center is the PERFECT location for your personal celebration or holiday, business, social, or even political organization event, check us out at harvestertn.com. God Bless America - GET OUT THE VOTE!!  (for Tecia Puckett Pryor).

**This event was paid for by the Committee to Elect Tecia for Judge, Sue N. Puckett, Treasurer
