Center Hill Lake Fest 2021

Those of us who attended the second annual Bert Driver’s Burlap Room Lake Fest event Saturday night in Smithville, TN were served up two ample helpings of the best Reggae live music around these parts.  The “just right” grooves were bumped along ever so nicely by Vibright, a young band based out of Nashville, TN.  Their opening set teed the crowd up perfectly for the more-seasoned Plainview Vibes to totally transport us all “outta here”. In between sets we got a surprise acoustic performance by special guest Chris Laplante. It’s impossible not to dance when you have these energetic musicians crankin’ out the Reggae vibes.  

One lucky winner walked away with a free Dogwood tree just for attending the event. Where else can you go see live music inside a greenhouse surrounded by live plants and trees and also walk away with a tree? Nowhere except for Bert Driver’s Burlap Room, which one attendee referred to as the “Rock N Roll Nursery”. We like the sound of that!

So now that we are all totally mellowed out, the staff and management of Bert Driver’s Burlap Room would like to thank our vendors, sponsors, and food truck purveyors for joining in and making Lake Fest II a resounding success!
