More info about John...

Emerging from Frisco, TX, John Rose is a singer/songwriter poised to take the world of music by storm. Combining heartfelt lyrics and captivating melodies to create a timeless sound, Rose is in a genre of his own. He shares his vast life experiences through his words. Lyrics such as “The day we met, our souls were free” and “Need you to wait for me but that's not fair,” show Rose is an old soul with a young spirit.

Music comes naturally to Rose. Growing up, he was surrounded by every type of music under the sun. Family members were involved in worship leadership, opera, r&b/hip-hop, and even country music. It is due to this wide array of exposure that Rose does not confine himself strictly to traditional genre boundaries saying, “I’m here to create freely and for my people to consume music freely.”

Even with such a gift, music is not all Rose focuses on. His non-profit Roses Giving Back seeks to fill the needs of various groups including single parent households, children suffering from terminal illnesses, and those struggling with homelessness.

From performing at legendary venues like Trees in Dallas Texas, to performing alongside acts like Rae Sremmurd at Bomb Factory, one thing is certain: it is only the beginning for Rose.
